Dr. Harman Warraich, Optometrist
Dr. Harman Warraich, optometrist can be seen at our Kirkland location. She is driven by a deep desire to help people see better and better understand their eye health. For her, proper vision care is the foundation of long-term quality of life. Whether it’s optimizing her patients’ vision or detecting early signs of broader health issues, she practices with precision, care, and attention to detail.
Fun fact: she can also serve patients in Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi.

Dr. Kimberly Charlemagne, Optometrist
Dr. Kimberly Charlemagne, optometrist got into optometry because she wanted to make a real difference in people’s lives. What drew her in was the perfect mix of science, human connection, and long-term impact on her patients’ health.

Why did you choose New Look to establish your practice?
“Because the environment reflects who I am: respect, autonomy, and flexibility. These values are essential to me. They allow me to thrive and give my best every day.”
When she’s not in the clinic, Kimberly enjoys recharging in nature, getting lost in a good book, or rolling out her yoga mat. She’s also passionate about travel—a way for her to broaden her horizons and fuel her curiosity about others.
In her practice, she places great importance on listening and analysis: “You really need to understand the patient’s needs, with empathy. That’s what allows for personalized and effective care.”
Why is it important to get your eyes examined regularly?
“An eye exam isn’t just about correcting blurry vision. It can also detect broader health issues like diabetes or high blood pressure. And for children, it’s essential to catch problems early that could affect learning.”
What makes her proudest? Catching things early.
“Protecting someone’s vision means protecting their independence and quality of life. When I catch something before it becomes a big issue, that’s when I know I’ve really helped.”
Dr. Wallace Lou, OD
Dr. Wallace Lou, OD has chosen a unique approach to his practice, navigating between our Montreal and Quebec City clinics. This flexibility allows him to offer quality care while juggling a diverse schedule, all at his own pace.

Why did you choose to join New Look?
“With New Look, I don't feel restricted in my practice! Thanks to the many clinics and the excellent team, I've been able to create a schedule that allows me to progress in my career while preserving my personal life. I work at my own pace and in my own way, and that's what makes all the difference.”
What qualities do you think are essential to being a good optometrist?
“Listening and humanity. Above all, a good optometrist must be able to understand and connect with his patients on a human level. This allows us to better identify their needs and offer personalized care.”
Wallace is particularly enthusiastic about technological developments in his field: “With artificial intelligence and advances in imaging, optometry is evolving rapidly. We'll soon be able to detect certain eye diseases much earlier. It's an exciting future!”
Outside the clinic, he can be found at the Muay Thai gym or out on the field playing sports. He is passionate about the evolution of technology in optometry and sees a future where artificial intelligence will play a crucial role in the early detection of eye diseases. Dr. Rayane Samet, OD
Dr. Rayane Samet, optometrist at Montreal's Le Boulevard branch on Jean-Talon Street East, developed his interest in optometry as early as his first eye exam. He's passionate about the ocular field, and loves the logic behind making the right diagnosis to provide the best possible care.

Why did you choose New Look to start your practice?
“I chose New Look because it's where I had my first eye exam, and I have fond memories of it. New Look's environment and values are a perfect match for me.”
What do you think are the essential qualities of an optometrist?
“Curiosity, observation, logic and, above all, empathy. These are the qualities that enable us to make the right diagnosis and offer the best care to each patient.”
Dr. Samet, OD also stresses the importance of regular eye examinations: “Many people are unaware that their eyes can reveal important information about their general health. For example, signs of diabetes can be detected during a dilated fundus exam."
His optimism about the future of optometry is not insignificant! “New treatments and technologies are constantly evolving, and it's exciting to be able to offer care that's more precise and tailored to patients' needs.”
When he's not treating patients, he enjoys jogging, swimming or going to the movies. “What I enjoy most about my job is the human interaction with patients and the feeling that I can really help them,” he says.
These new optometrists each bring a unique energy and personalized approach to their patients. We look forward to watching them grow in their practice at New Look! Book an eye exam right here.
