Monthly or single use?

During your contact lens fitting appointment your optician will explain the differences between monthly versus single use contacts. Here are some differences between the two:

Daily contacts

Throw after one day of use
No maintenance required
Ideal for both regular and occasional wearers
New sterile contacts everyday
Available for people with astigmatism or presbyopia
Ideal for active or outdoor lifestyles

Monthly contacts

Throw 30 days after you opened a new blister
Available for people with astigmatism or presbyopia
Daily maintenance required
Offers custom-made options for complex prescriptions

Putting in and removing contacts

Our opticians in-store will show you how to put in and remove contact lenses. Get a head start and watch this tutorial video:

What to expect

Adaptation period

Give yourself time to get used to your contacts by slowly increasing the amount of time you wear them and follow your optician’s recommandations. If the pair is right, you won’t feel them. In fact, you’ll probably forget you’re even wearing them.

Finding the perfect fit

If you feel any discomfort, don’t hesitate to let your optician know. Sometimes it takes more than one trial to find THE perfect contacts for you. That’s why we offer free samples!

Follow-up

Before ordering, your optician will meet you for a follow-up appointment in person. This will allow your eye care professional to validate your comfort level & observe your contacts directly in your eyes to ensure that their movement and positioning are optimal.
